Aside from being an outspoken politician, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontum, is also veering into counselling.
He has started this path by counselling celebrities which he did recently on his media platform, Wontumi radio/TV.
Chairman Wontumi who has not been enthused with the breakup of dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale and his long time lover Michy, has asked both to mend their relationship.
Shatta and Michy went their separate ways after a sour relationship.
They separated last year after taking swipes at each other on social media.
According to Chairman Wontumi, marriages come with their own problems and one would have to be strong to surmount such challenges.
“I’ll use this opportunity to tell Shatta Michy that she should go back home. She should go back to Shatta Wale. Every man needs a woman to help shape him. My wife helped me a lot. When I met her, I was already doing well but when she came into my life, there were a lot of things I subsequently achieved,” said Wontumi.
Chairman Wontumi gave the advice when he praised Shatta Wale for featuring on Beyonce’s “Black is King” project.
He further advised that since they already have a child, she should desist from discussing their marital issues in the media.
“She [Michy] should not discuss their issues in the media anymore because every marriage has its own problems. Marriage is just about acceptance. You choose to spend your life with someone…So, I’m appealing to Michy to go back and I plead with Shatta Wale to accept his wife just like that,” he said.
