The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has commended the Dance With Purpose (DWP Academy) for getting featured in Beyonce’s ‘Black Is King’.
He noted that “It’s exciting to see our local talents being recognized for their immeasurable talents & hard work.”
According to him, this stride makes it clear “Ghana has enormous potential to dominate & rule the world” adding that “It’s always, a thing of access & amplification.”

Meanwhile John Mahama’s running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has also congratulated Shatta Wale, the DWP Academy and all the Ghanaians who took part in the ‘Black Is King’ project.

Beyonce featured Shatta Wale on ‘Already’ one of the songs on the 2019 album, The Lion King: The Gift.
On Friday, the video was released as part of the videos on ‘Black Is King’ which serves as a visual companion to the 2019 album. The video also featured the Dance With Purpose Academy who displayed great dance skills.
