Ghanaian rapper Freda Rhymz has apologised to Sista Afia for jumping on the beef and insulting her.
Some months back, singer Sista Afia dropped a beef song titled ‘WMT’ which social media said was directed at Sister Deborah. The song generated strings of beef songs from females in the rap game. Rappers like Eno Barony released songs to counter her.
However, Freda jumped on the vibe to make people know her talent since it was during the lockdown period and business was slow for all including the entertainment industry.
What started like lyrical beef almost resulted in an exchange of fists when Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz met at the premises of TV3.
The two again met on the show, United Showbiz on UTV and almost threw punches while Arnold Mensah Elavanyo, Nana Ama McBrown and Bulldog tried to get them to calm down.
Taking to Instagram, Wednesday, August 5, the two shared a twin picture of themselves posed in red tops and black biker shots to announce they have a new song coming up.
But on Freda’s Instagram, she did more than announce the song. She apologized for causing her pain.
“I’m sorry for causing you pain sis, thanks for the love & support!,” she captioned the Instagram post.
