American rapper Cardi B has confessed she feels she is starting her music career all over again after her last song nine months ago.
In an Instagram post two days ago, she announced her new song, ‘WAP’ featuring Megan Thee Stallion will be released on Friday, August 7.
The obviously good news was greeted with lots of love, reposts and emojis all over social media especially because it has been quite some time she fed the fans and collaboration between herself and Megan, is just too good to be true.
Months back, Megan was accused of having a beef with Cardi B over a comment on Youtube. She later teamed up with Cardi B’s rival, Nicki Minaj on the song, ‘Hot Girls Summer’.
However, Megan came out to clear the air saying she has nothing to do with the Youtube comments and that her management is to blame for anything of the sort.
So when Cardi B announced the feature with an iconic picture of the two wearing the same hairstyle and matching earrings with the inscription of the song title, fans have been showing so much love.
Reacting to the love shown her, Cardi shared a video to her Instagram saying she teared up as a result of the feedback she got on social media.
“I haven’t dropped a song in nine months so I feel like I’m starting fresh all over again, ” she said adding that “I just wanna say thank y’all so much. Y’all had me crying.”
