Trust social media to jump on anything to start a trend!
The latest trend to hit Facebook is the #BonnetChallenge which emanated from the social media rant between Mzbel and Tracey Boakye.
The two popular figures have been entertaining social media with allegations and spilling each other’s secrets.
Mzbel believes it is childish for Tracey Boakye to be flaunting her properties on social media.
Tracey, however, did not take Mzbel’s opinion in good faith. She burst out in a series of live videos on her Instagram page where she called the former all kinds of names.
She claimed Mzbel was only bitter because she (Tracey) had snatched her sugar daddy.
Mzbel also replied in a series of live videos mocking Tracey for confessing that her lifestyle is sponsored by a married man after she lied to the public a few months ago claiming one can start a business with GHS 500and that no one ever supported her journey to success.
Interestingly, the two did their live videos wearing the latest hair bonnets.
After social media heard enough of the hot ‘tea’ the two spilled since Tuesday night, the bonnet challenge kick-started.
People started posting pictures of themselves wearing hair bonnets.
Men even joined in; some others actually did live Facebook videos wearing the hair bonnets.
