Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has successfully gotten his new voters identification card.
He got registered today in Korlegono, according to his Snapchat feed in which the artiste could be seen in the company of his team going to the centre and going through the necessary process.
In one of the videos, he could be seen standing before an Electoral Commission (EC) official while his temperature was being checked with the thermometer gun.
Some of the videos showed the officials and fans alike begging to take pictures with the “king” as the hit song, ‘Already’ plays in the background.
A few days ago, the president commended Shatta Wale for his feature on Beyonce’s ‘Black Is King’ in a tweet and in response, he noted that he will keep the tweet for “4 more years”.
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy also got registered on August 3. He shared pictures of himself to twitter announcing he just got his voters ID.
