The Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy is not stopping after featuring in Beyonce’s ‘Black Is King’.
According to the dance group, they plan it is their dream to build the biggest dance school in Africa to shape creatives and put a value on the talent.
Speaking to Frema Adunyame and Ato Kwamina on Citi TV’s Upside Down show, Dancegod Lloyd noted that DWP Academy is “an institution that gives young and up and coming creatives a platform to monetize their creativity and also find their purpose to live it”.
Touching on their master plan, Lloyd said, “Our utmost goal is to build a dance school. The biggest dance school in Africa because we believe that we are the best. It’s not just dance but when it comes to creativity, we’re doing a great job for the dance industry.
He added that anyone who is interested in investing in the project should reach out to them on social media.
The dance academy which is only three years old has over 200 members as at now.
Meanwhile, they are planning on dropping a dance album which will tell the story of their journey from when they started up until now.
“We’re dropping a dance album. It’s called Akwentuo. It’s gonna tell our followers the journey; some people just followed us so they need to know how we started and it comes with a documentary as well,” Dancegod Lloyd disclosed.
