I never said anywhere that Professor Naana Jane apologised on Nigel’s behalf – Mzbel clarifies

Mzbel has debunked claims that she mentioned National Democratic Congress’ running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku- Agyemang as the one who apologized on Prophet Nigel Gaisie’s behalf.

She noted that Daily Guide reported the story which honourable Kennedy Agyapong picked to discuss on his programme yesterday.

Speaking in a Facebook live video August 11, 2020, she explained that when Nigel Gaisie offended her, she spoke with Kennedy Agyapong and was willing to share all the details with him but had a change of mind.

According to Mzbel, she only got to hear of Professor Naana Jane recently and that she knew nothing about Nigel or herself.

“I am very sorry that this is happening but it’s not true.Daily Guide, the story you wrote is not true…I never said anywhere that it was Professor Naana Jane that apologized on Nigel’s behalf. I’ve never met professor Naana Jane. I don’t even know her. I only heard about her,” she said.

“And ever since I heard about her, I’ve been reading about her, trying to follow her steps,” she further said adding that she admires her for having lived a life worth emulating.

She therefore also apologized for having her name smeared in her case.

Mzbel has not specifically told the story of what really happened between herself and the prophet although she keeps saying he did something to her which had to be solved through compensation and notable figures pleading on his behalf.

Days ago, she had a back and forth social media fight with actress Tracey Boakye who claimed Mzbel went to Nigel Gaisie in nightwear to seduce him and later blackmailed him.

Mzbel denied seducing the prophet but agreed she visited in nightwear covered with a red robe because the man of God called her at 12 am when she was asleep.

Narrating part of the story amidst tears, Mzbel stated that she honoured the call out of respect and that when she entered his office, he was in a shirt and boxer shorts but she did not throw herself at him.

She did not mention the name of the person who pleaded on the prophet’s behalf and she refused to tell the whole story.

She, however, threatened to come clean and tell the whole story if Nigel does not stop telling people she seduced him.
