Ghanaian actress and movie producer Tracey Boakye has disclosed that she is resuming her movie productions in September.
This comment comes on the back of Film Producers Association Ghana (FIPAG) issuing her a letter of suspension from the association.
She has been suspended over the use of foul language in her recent outbursts and attacks on musician Mzbel on social media.
According to the statement signed by the Association’s President James Aboagye, what Tracy did in her videos was in diametric opposition to the Ghanaian cultures, traditions, ethics and sensibilities.
The suspension means that the actress and film producer would not take part in any of the association’s activities until further notice.
But in an Instagram live video August 12, 2020, Tracey Boakye has responded to their statement, saying she would produce her movies and upload them to youtube.
She noted that she did not receive any letter and that it was just given to bloggers for their publication.
“I am one woman standing against men…Youtube is not for FIPAG,”
she said in the video.
Shed added that the industry from which she is suspended is not even viable to worry her head over.
“The Ghana movie industry is dead,” she stated.
