Politician and entertainer, Banky W had advised fans to desist from comparing and belittling other artistes as far as celebrating their favorite acts is concerned.
This comment comes on the back of fans making fun of other artistes after Burna Boy released his new album, Twice As Tall.
Social media is good at drawing rivalry and teasing other artistes any time their favorite releases a major project.
They cannot do with congratulating their act and leaving it at that. They find a way to drag in their ‘opponent’. This sometimes takes the attention off the project they are supposed to celebrate.
Sharing his opinion in a tweet, Banky W noted that in the process of celebrating Burna Boy’s achievements, there is no need to put down other artistes.
“Dear fans, please note: Acknowledging @burnaboy’s unquestionable greatness doesn’t mean we must bring up (or put down) Wiz, David or anyone else. And vice versa,” he tweeted.
