American rapper and fashion designer, Kanye West has announced his Sunday Service is back since it was put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He noted that all coronavirus protocols were observed at this week’s service held in the mountains of Wyoming.

“Praise God. We would like to thank our staff for making sure all covid safety guidelines were followed today during Sunday Service at our West Mountains family ranch in Wyoming. We are beyond blessed to be able to share the love of Christ through worship #SUNDAYSERVICEISBACK, he said in his tweet.

Sunday Service is held every Sunday since its debut on January 6, 2019. The service which infuses the rapper’s love for music and fashion is tailored to fit the social media age.

Per Variety’s report, the service is held on Kanye’s property in Calabasas, in Burbank, and Los Angeles; the location changes every week and most of the services have been invite-only, and attendees are usually asked sign non-disclosure agreements but recent gatherings in Chicago, Wyoming, and Dayton, Ohio have been open to the public.

As a fashion designer, a dress code has been prescribed for the choir who are called ‘The Samples’ and attendees- GQ writes that the show’s producer gives the choir a Yeezy-designed outfit either a few days before the week’s Service or just before.

From videos shared to wife, Kim Kardashian’s Instagram story, this week’s service saw the choir and Kanye in a red shirt and matching trousers which were the colour-coordinated dress code for this week’s service.

Touching on the inspiration behind the Service on Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, he said, “It’s just an idea we had to open up our hearts to make music that we felt was as pure and as positive as possible and just do it for an hour every Sunday, and have something where people can just come together and feel good with their families.”

Meanwhile, he has also announced that he needs a chief financial officer. It is not clear if this role is for his presidential campaign or one of his music or fashion ventures.
