Rapper Sarkodie and Shatta Wale have performed together for the first time after resolving their misunderstanding and social media is loving the reunion.
Sarkodie released ‘Advice’ in 2018 to address Shatta Wale’s misbehaviour towards other artistes especially for always claiming he has more properties and money as compared to the other artistes.
After the release of the song, the two sorts of drifted away until recently. Although Sarkodie is seen passing good comments and congratulating Shatta Wale on his projects, the dancehall artiste was not having it- he saw it as hypocrisy.
But on Sarkodie’s birthday in July this year, show host, Andy Dosty called Shatta Wale while talking to the Sark on a phone interview on-air as a surprise.
The two talked like there was never a misunderstanding.
Last night, Sarkodie held his Black Love Virtual Concert which saw artistes including Amakye Dede, Sista Afia, Efya, King Promise Kidi and of course Shatta Wale.
The performances were wowing however, Twitter has been talking about #ShattaSark. From all indications, fans from both camps have missed seeing these heavyweights performing together on the same stage.
