Amerado believes colleague rapper Asem could get his breakthrough from attacking artistes every now and then especially after being off the music scene for long.
Asem had his time to showcase his rap skills until after while. He got lost in the many talents that sprung up after him.
He came back recently doing freestyles and mainly attacking his colleagues on social media.
He is in the habit of attacking creatives almost every day; from rappers to comedians to singers.
While some have given him the attention by replying, others like Sarkodie, Edem stays ignoring him.
Just like he does all the others, he accused Amerado of copying his ideas and style for his ‘Yeete Nsem’.
‘Yeete Nsem’ is Amerado’s way of informing fans of trendy issues. He compiles all the topics that trended in a week which he delivers in rap format.
Reacting to Asem’s accusations, he told Kwame Dadzie in an interview on Ghanaweekend TV that the rampant verbal attacks could be a strategy to get him back on track.
“Asem is one of the people who inspire me. He’s good, I like him. You know Ghanaians don’t understand artistes until their craft starts to make sense. Maybe what he’s doing now is just his strategy. When Shatta Wale came back, we all saw the strategy he used
“So, let’s give him the chance to do as he pleases because he’s entitled to his rights,” he said.
However, he added that if Asem were to use a song to get at him, he would have honoured it with a musical reply.
Meanwhile, Amerado also disclosed that people give him stories to add to the ‘Yeete Nsem’.
