Artiste manager and blogger George Britton has said in an exclusive interview with ghanaweekend.com that he has no regrets for telling MzVee the hard truth.
According to him, his statement on MzVee was in good taste. He wanted her to know the truth so she puts in much effort.
“As an industry person, I have my opinion. When I say this, I don’t hate my sister. I am only telling her what I have seen. I think it will be better to say these things to her rather than be sycophants, where I see her and praise but behind closed doors, everybody is saying there is something missing.
The artiste manager of Camidoh and the CEO of GB Africa Media also noted that apart from being an artiste manager, he is also a media person so he can not keep mute over industry issues.
A few days ago, he said on Happy FM that MzVee’s comeback into the music industry was weak.
George had said that after going on hibernation, MzVee could not return as strong as she used to be when she was with Lynx Entertainment.
But responding to him on Starr FM’s ‘The Zone’ with Cookie Tee, MzVee described George as weak for not being able to manage Keche and his current artiste Camidoh.
“I’m surprised because he recently tried to work with me just recently … I mean he’s had two artistes and he’s not been able to do much for them; Camidoh is such a talented musician,” she said.
She also said it is not easy to sail through depression, shoot four very expensive videos to songs in a really short time, “he’s very weak for saying that,” she added.
