Kumerica was coined from Kumasi and America.
It has been trending for some time now after videos of young boys based in Kumasi flooded the internet.
In the videos , they either brag about their possessions or tell where in Kumasi they come from. When they name a place, they precede it with one of the cities in the US.

In other videos , they send shout out to any artiste of their choice especially if it’s the artiste’s birthday.

Shatta Wale just caught the wave. He has released a Kumerica Anthem, claiming he is a “full Kumerican”.
He has shared a lot of videos from the Kumericans, their flag and passport on his snap chart handle.
He is calling for five Kumericans to feature on the song to be able to shoot the video before the wave dies down.
He noted that to qualify for the feature, the artiste should be based in Kumasi and not an Asante who lives in Accra.
