Actress Efia Odo has shared her opinion on the meal government provides for final year Junior High School students.

The government as part of its measures to curb coronavirus has taken on the duty to provide final year students with one hot meal daily.
However, videos that have surfaced on the internet shows some of the students complaining either about how small the food is or how poorly it was cooked.

Reacting to the videos, Efia noted that the government treats the citizens badly because they accept whatever is thrown at them.

“Government will allow your children to eat this food!!!!The worst part is they put their images on the pack as if they’ve done something. Politicians are put in power by we the people to SERVE we the people! But they really show how much they don’t give a fuck,” she said in one of her instagram post.

“I don’t blame the government, I blame the people who think this is what they deserve. You as a people, beautiful strong intelligent black people deserve to be treated as first class citizens! Do not settle for less than you deserve. Speak up! It’s not my job to take care of anyone, but I do the best I can with donations! I am not the one in power. You have elected people to service and protect your livelihood. Stop settling for less than you deserve,” she said in another.
