Artiste Worlasi has replied critics who had issues with the attire he wore to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
He appeared on the red carpet with a cloth wrapped around him from the waist to the ankle, a shirt, chain and converse shoes to complement.
Some people described him as a fetish priest.
Taking to Twitter, Worlasi noted that he is saddened by the fact that Ghanaians prefer other cultures to theirs.
He added that instead of giving up, he will stick to doing what he does so that people are forced to accept it.
“I wrap a Ghanaian made cloth around my waist and I’m a fetish priest ? It saddens me that your minds are not yours anymore. Sometimes I just want to give up on you. BUT I WON’T .. you will learn to love yours “and others” #waaska,” he said in his tweet.
