Ghanaian artiste Mildred Ashong, known in showbiz as Eazzy, has shot down claims that she is lending her support to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Someone had posted a photo of Eazzy with the NPP insignia and a caption that suggested she was rooting for the party.
However, in a tweet, she stated that the photo was edited and that she has no intention to publicly affiliate herself to any political party.
“I respect every political party! I have not been approached to publicly endorse any political party, my vote is personal and private so please disregard these posts and such Edited pictures. they are fake thank You.”

Politics is a very slippery field the reason most people shy away from it.
However, in Ghana, some creative artists have publicly lent their support to various parties.
For the New Patriotic Party (NPP) there are Agya Koo, Daddy Lumba, Barima Sidney, Mark Okraku-Mantey, Socrate Safo, Great Ampong, among others.
Mzbel, Mr Beautiful, Bulldog, Rex Omar, Abu Sadiq and others are also on the side of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Ghana heads to the polls on December 7, 2020, to elect the next President and parliamentarians.
