It appears Ghanaian celebrities are not relenting on their bid to make sure the government changes the laws bar celebrities from plugging alcoholic beverages and betting services.
After years of complaints by these celebrities, the issue has come up again after it came up recently that celebrities can’t advertise for betting companies, aside from alcoholic beverages.
A few weeks ago, Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly known as Bullet came out to say he would rather want to relocate his Rufftown Records label to Nigeria due to these concerns.
Wendy Shay, who is managed Bullet has also lent her voice to the matter.
According to her, she will be taking the Food and Drugs Authority and the Gaming Commission of Ghana to court for restricting celebrities in their works.

‘GH Celebs can we put our differences aside and fight the system ??
I guess we don’t know how powerful we are …
Well I’m taking the FDA and Gaming commission to the Human Rights Court
Celebs are also Ghanaians and deserve better !!
Ghana wake Up !!’ she wrote.
