After he was nabbed by the police in Kumasi over the weekend the real reasons for Kwame Owusu Fordjour aka Dr.UN’s arrest is out now.
According to UTV reporter Sampson Nyamekye, in 2018, Dr.UN was arrested after he presenting fake awards to some people at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST).
When the awards were found to be fake, he was arrested and put behind bars for two weeks.
He was then granted bail on an amount of GHC 20,000.
However, Dr.UN failed to visit the court for proceedings.
The police, after decided to send him a court warrant when he was heard on Kumasi-based Hello FM for an interview.
Dr UN recently became popular after it was found out that he had rewarding some renowned people including celebrities like Sarkodie and D-Black, under the guise of a United Nations project.
Checks proved that he had no ties with the UN.
