Ghanaian comic actor, Justice Hymns, popular known as Mmebusem, who plays Jesus Christ in his movie roles, has announced that he has changed his name.
Speaking to Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, he noted that his role has changed and would now want to be known as the ‘Holy Spirit’ and not Ghana Jesus.
The comic actor, about a year ago, caught the attention of Ghanaians with his rib-cracking skits as he played the character of ‘Ghana Jesus’.
Even though he was criticised for blaspheming, he did not stop with his skits. He was able to garner a lot of followers and viewership on social media.
He currently runs ‘Jesus Today Comics’ on his YouTube Channel.
Speaking to Abeiku Santana, he said changing his role and name does not change who he is.
