Nigerian rapper and actor Falz the Bahd Guy has turned 30.
The rapper shared a moving post on Twitter to mark the occasion.
In the post, he referenced those who supposedly passed away in the controversial Lekki incident.
The lawyer turned rapper has been one of the loudest celebrity voices in the #ENDSARS movement.
Falz has followed in the footsteps of his parents, renowned activists Funmi and Femi Falana in commenting on social issues in his home country of Nigeria.
Indeed, his hit song, “This is Nigeria” brought him international recognition for his thoughtful and critical portrayal of Nigeria.
Falz has not released music since his April 2020 single, Bop Daddy.
Mixed feelings. It’s been a week since we lost our brave soldiers at the toll gate.
