The Parliamentary Candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency on the ticket od the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dumelo, has said that his party will not sit aloof to watch anybody rig the 2020 elections.
The actor-turned-politician said at a rally that unlike in the past where the party decided not to contest any defeat, they have resolved to beat up anyone who dares to manipulate the election results.

“Be vigilant because we are aware that they want to rig the elections. If they do so, we shall arrest them and beat them up.
This time around, we are not going to leave everything to God. We are going to deal with anyone that messes up with us,” he said in the video sighted by ghanaweekend.com.
He, therefore, assured the members that come what may the flagbearer of the party, John Dramani Mahama is going to win the Presidential elections.
The ‘Baby Thief’ actor is contesting the incumbent Lydia Alhassan for the parliamentary seat at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
