The YouTube channel of Ghanaian content creator Kwadwo Sheldon has been taken down.
The YouTuber who uses the account name Content Nyame got his channel suspended on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
The last time we checked he had over 140,000 subscribers; the account was verified.
Speaking to ghanaweekend.com, he said: “I was asleep when google sent me a warning message that I had been logged out of my account. So I checked, logged in and realised someone had taken over my account.”
He continued that: “they started premiering some Japanese and Chinese videos on his account, deleting my old videos.”
Later, Google took down the account.
Sheldon whose Gmail account was also hacked said he was sure google took down the account because they sensed that there was something suspicious going on on the channel.
In the meantime, he says is not hopeful of getting back his account, so he has created a new one called Kwadwo Sheldon, which currently has about 1.2k subscribers.
