Kwadwo Sheldon has lamented the behaviour of brands when it comes to payment after collaborations.
Sheldon said in an interview with Naa Adoley and Emmanuel Sarpong on Citi TV’s ’30 Minutes’ that brands were reluctant to offer monetary compensation in the wake of collaborations but preferred to offer freebies and other softer forms of payment.
Sheldon who has close to 400,000 followers on IG explained that brands were very interested in taking advantage of his reach but were not offering the funds he desired so he had decided to diversify his income streams.
This path was what led him to YouTube where he had accrued 141,000 subscribers before the recent unfortunate hack which had led him to start again.
At the time of writing Sheldon had 17.4 subscribers on his new channel Kwadwo Sheldon TV.
