Ghanaian Broadcaster Deloris Frimpong Manso, known in showbiz circles as Delay has dissociated herself from a claim made by ‘showbiz-philanthropist’ Aisha Modi that she funded Obrafour’s ‘Kasiebo’ album.
Obrafour recently dragged Delay and Ayisha Modi to court for defamation but Delay says she should not be involved in the lawsuit because she did not make the statement. She was doing her job.
“In August this year, I interviewed Ayisha Modi and while the interview was ongoing, issues relating to Obrafour popped up. I want to state that I was only asking questions and I was given answers. I don’t see why I should be involved in this issue,” she said in a video.
“I do not endorse whatever my guest said about Obrafour and I dissociate myself from whatever issue that is happening between them. Wherever Obrafour is, I send him lots of warm greetings and I want him to understand that I know nothing about the issue,” she added.
Obrafour has sued Aisha Modi, ‘Delay’ and the producers of her show to the Accra High Court over claims made by Aisha Modi on ‘The Delay Show’ she single-handedly invested an amount of $45,000 into his ‘Kasiebo’ album a decade ago but got nothing in return.
