Ghanaian highlife artiste, Quarme Zaggy, has rated the performance of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the area of arts.
The ‘Araba’ singer told Kwame Dadzie on Ghana Weekend TV that the NPP government has reneged on most of the promises they made to the arts.
He said it is unfortunate that they outlined a lot of good ideas but could not implement them.
Quarme cited the inability of the government to built the nine theatres they promised the creative industry.
Asked to score the government’s performance on the arts, he said he would give them 4/10.
