Ghanaian-Nigerian recording artiste, songwriter and performer, Rison has released a new single titled Nobody has to know of his upcoming EP, ‘I Rise’.

The new song is about keeping relationships private and not getting people involved.

In the meantime, his ‘I Rise’ EP which has five (5) songs is set to be released soon.

Rison speaking on the Citi TV’s Breakfast Daily programme on Monday, November 23, 2020, said the EP is to project women.

According to him, women are always left behind and that is his way of bringing them forward.

“The EP was put together during the lockdown period, I was inspired by the various shades and sides of women. This whole project is actually about women because as an African man I’m acutely aware of the moment in time we are in where we as men have to learn to support and allow our women the space to be their greatest selves. I say allow because patriarchy has been the blockage to women truly rising,” he said.

“I know it’ There is a song on the EP called ‘Woman’, which talks about how powerful women are. The title “I Rise” is not just a personal statement to myself, but to every woman out there.”
