Ghanaian actress Tracey Boakye has apologised to the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong after he said that his accusations of a romantic affair between Former President John Mahama and actress Tracey Boakye were a joke.
Recently on a campaign platform, Ken alleged that John Mahama had bought a mansion worth over $450,000 for Tracey Boakye at East Legon.
He even suggested that John Mahama was the father of Tracey’s baby.
Enraged by this, Tracey replied through a series of videos insulting him.
But in an interview on Asaase Radio on Sunday, Kennedy Agyapong said that his claims were a mere joke.
”Whatever happens to a man, I don’t feel happy about it. Like I was in Akyiase, and I was joking about Mahama, and Tracey Boakye and Tracey Boakye took it so seriously and all that.” he said.
Tracy Boakye, after seeing the interview, expressed apologised to the MP.
“JOKING??? Really??? Ok, Hon Kennedy Agyapong, I beg you not to joke with such issues again, especially during an election period, No Politician has bought any house nor cars for me, My Man is not a politician. I AM ALSO SORRY FOR THE HARSH AND DISRESPECTFUL WORDS I USED FOR YOU, you’re like a father to me, and I’m your daughter. SO SORRY, and please such jokes are too expensive. THANK YOU 
,” she wrote in a post on Instagram.
