Venerated Ghanaian music producer, Zapp Mallet has stated that Sarkodie owes him for the work he did for him on his ‘Party and Bullsh*t’ song.
Zapp said on Pure FM that he produced the song and even contributed to writing it but he has not received any royalties for the work done.
Recounting how he got to work on the song, Zapp said Mark Okraku Mante once called to tell him Sarkodie needed something for his song and he knew he was the only one who could do that for him.
According to him, Sarkodie wanted a kind of old-school flavor for the song and in about 30 minutes the work was done.
What baffles him, however, is after signing the split sheet presented to him by Sarkodie’s manager Angel Town, he is yet to make any monetary gains.
Zapp Mallet is a celebrated Ghanaian music producer noted for being part of the proponents of hiplife music.
He has produced songs for artists from different genres and backgrounds.
