A new award scheme will be launched in Kumasi on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
The awards, dubbed Entertainment Achievement Awards is organised by Citi TV and Citi FM.
It seeks to recognise, unearth, spotlight, encourage and celebrate entertainers and entertainment industry players, who have distinguished themselves in the practice of their art and in their chosen fields of endeavour.
It also aims at leading the way in sanitising and transforming Ghana’s entertainment scene, in a bid to create artistic products that can firmly compete on any global stage.
The Entertainment Achievement Awards also aims to run and execute an entertainment and lifestyle awards scheme that brings prestige and decorum to the creative arts space.
