Gospel Artiste, Bernice Ansah says there is no music producer in Ghana at the moment.
According to the artiste who has produced thirteen (13) music albums to her credit, music producers who are known to support artistes to get to the limelight are difficult to come by.
She spoke during the launch of Gospel musician, Deaconess Victoria Ataa Boamah known in gospel music circles as _Maame Ataa_ at the Church of Pentecost Lartebiokorshie Bethel District on Saturday, 2nd January, 2021.
She said “if you are in the church and you have a singing talent, you ought to have someone who can support you financially to get to the market space, else your talent will diffuse in no time”.
She added that most musicians who are not able to sustain their career are due to inadequate financial strength.
Sharing her experience about how far she has come, Mrs Ansah recounted that she spent GHC 965, 000 to promote her _Gbemze Gbemze_ album which was nominated by Ghana Music Awards.
She added that she often loaded her bag with large sum of money and go to media houses to promote her music and came back with no amount of money.
