Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has recounted how he got Sarkodie to feature on his latest song called ‘Wavy’.
According to him, the song was recorded in 2019.
He said he planned to use the opportunity to tour countries including Ghana in 2020 but the coronavirus pandemic spoilt all those plans.
In an interview on ten over 10, Khaligraph lauded Sarkodie, saying he is one of the best rappers in Africa.
He said that he got linked up with Sarkodie through Nigerian artiste Rudebowy.
Since the ‘Wavy’ song was released, it has generated a lot of reactions from the Ghanaian music community.
While some are just enjoying the rap dexterity of both rap giants, others are critically assessing the performance of both acts on the song.
