Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur D-Black has announced plans to set up a media house that airs predominantly Ghanaian content
In a tweet, he wrote: “Gonna invest in a Radio & TV Station dedicated to Hiphop, Afrobeats , dancehall & urban music from Ghana only !!90% our music !!!’
This comes on the back of complaints by some people that the media landscape that be inundated with foreign content.
It has been argued that this is injurious to the growth of the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
