Okyeame Kwame has said that his brother Kunta Kinte, formerly of Bradez fame, will surely get back to active music.
Speaking to Feeling Daddy on Empire FM, Okyeame said that he is even planning to record some songs with Kunta this year.
He further noted that because he suffered a stroke at a very young age, he needs more time to heal before he engages in any stressful activity.
“He’ll get back to music. The time is not ripe for him to return to active music. This year, I even have plans of doing a lot of songs with him. Getting hit with a stroke at 21 was no joke. So before he comes back on stage he needs to rebuild his system. He lost a lot. There was a point he could not even tell you who his father was. He had twisted lips, he went blind. He lost all his limbs,” he said.
Kunta Kinte, together with his other brother Flowking Stone, won a lot of spurs with their song ‘Simple’ in 2009.
A few years later, Kunta suffered a stroke which made the group dormant for a while before Flowking Stone embarked on his solo career.
They are also known for songs such as ‘Flashe’, ‘One Gallon’, ‘Bomboclat’, among others.
