A few months after Bisa K Dei got his song featured in a Hollywood movie called Jingle Jangle, another Ghanaian musician has enjoyed a similar feat.
Shatta Wale’s ‘Ayoo’, Mama Stories’ and ‘My Level’ have been featured in a Spanish movie titled ‘Black Beach.’
The songs were played in the background during a pub scene, where the Spanish characters sang along.
When the DJ played My Level, the atmosphere got charged up and that called for more dancing and applause from the cast.
Shot in Belgium, Spain and Cape Coast, Black Beach is an adventurous movie centered around a lawyer with a promising future who is forced to dive deep into his past when he agrees to negotiate with an old friend turned kidnapper.
The movie is currently streaming on Netflix.
This is not Shatta Wale’s first international break. In 2019 he got featured on Beyonce’s ‘Already’ song, a feature that gave a huge global recognition.
