Benson Oduro Boateng popularly known as Funny Face in showbiz circles was arrested on Monday for unlawfully firing a firearm at Kasoa.
In a JoyNews interview, DSP Irene Serwaa Oppong, the Central Regional Police PRO said the comedian was arrested on Monday after he fired a pump-action gun when he was engaged in an altercation with a drinking pub owner.

“On the 8th of February 2021, around 3:30 pm, the Millennium Police Command arrested the comedian, Funny Face in connection with an offense of discharging a firearm in a public place.”
According to her, Funny Face also reported the bar operator for assault.
Meanwhile, DSP Ofori said that the pump-action gun has been retrieved from the comedian.
on the other hand, Funny Face has said in a video that he was really maltreated by the police when he was arrested.
