The issue of secular musicians doing music with their gospel counterparts and vice versa will always pop up.
Ghanaian rapper Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, known in showbiz as Eno Barony has said that all the female artists he wanted to feature on her new album turned her down.
She told NYDJ on Y 102.5 FM’s Ryse N Shyne Show about some of the challenges she faced while trying to put her album together.
“This album has thought me a lot of lessons, especially knowing that featuring a female artist is not easy, especially when you’re also female”.
“I wanted to feature one gospel female artiste on the album and most of those I reached out to turned me down”.
She disclosed that reached out to about five gospel artistes. While some gave her reasons they could not be on the song, others just brushed her off.
Eno is preparing to release her ‘Ladies First’ album.
