The Member of Parliament for the Odododiodoo Constituency, Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye has pledged to offer his third daughter to musician Kofi Kinaata.
He said this in an interview with Joy News when he professed his love for Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Behind the Scenes’ songs.
Awed by Kofi’s lyrical dexterity and his Takoradi Fante, the Member of Parliament said: “I’ve told him [Kofi Kinaata] that if he wants to marry I’m ready to give him my third daughter,” he quipped.
Kofi Kinaata has been described by many as one of the best songwriters and lyricists the country has ever produced.
Although he is young, most of his songs don’t only appeal to the youth; they are loved by the elderly, too.
