Zylofon Music signee, Obibini has said that he deserves more plaudits than he has received as a rapper in Ghana.
He told Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM that the rap history of Ghana cannot be written without him because he is a formidable force in the game.
He said: “Every best rapper award that anybody has won belongs to me.”
The issue of who the best rapper is in Ghana has been a heated one in this entertainment industry, especially when it comes to the Best Rapper category in the various award schemes.
For the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), there is always heightened controversy and buzz whenever the nominees are released.
Rappers like Sarkodie, EL, M.anifest, Kwesi Arthur, have all won this award before.
Even though Obibini has also earned a nomination in the Best Raper category before, he is looking forward to winning the slot.
But would he get a nomination in the VGMAs this year? Can he win this award if he gets nominated together with Eno Barony, Sarkodie, Amerado, and co?
