Ghanaian crooner, Gladstorm Akwaboah, is not ready to yield to trends to change his style of music.
The highlife artiste who is noted for music with well-thought-out lyrics and production made a post to explain why he will always hold on to his music ideals than lower his standard.
“I’m not doing the Music cuz I wana come down to anyone’s level..I’m raising the bar so high that if anyone wants to listen to great Music, they will have to climb up..I’ve got standards..those across Ghana are not joking..why must I??” he wrote.

In recent times, most artistes have been criticised for doing songs that only appeal to an audience for a short while and fizzles out of the system.
It has been observed that most songs that don’t undergo painstaking composition and production are the ones that really catch on faster with music lovers.
But it appears Akwaboah is unperturbed by the successes artistes of the songs are enjoying. He would rather stick to his style.
Akwaboah, known for his songwriting prowess, has written songs for SP Kofi Sarpong, Becca, Ceccy Twum, among others.
