Mwalimu Joshua Njenga, the Kenyan English teacher who gained popularity in Ghana after he marked Nana Addo’s speech, has done it again.
This time around, he’s taken the owners of the English Language to his English class.
He edited the press release issued by Royal Communications for the Royal Family on the back of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
He wrote on Twitter:
“Dear Buckingham Palace,
In my morning class, we discussed the difference between active and passive writing, and we used your statement for practice.
I asked my students to rewrite it using active language.
Here is what they did.
Have a great day.
Mwalimu Joshua Njenga.”
