The Dubai Taxi Corporation wants Ghanaian rapper Amerado to delete the artwork of his new single Taxi Driver.
In a message they sent to the rapper through social media, they said Amerado used their images without their consent.
They found inappropriate the use of the official logo of the Dubai Taxi Corporation as his official cover art.
“We would like to inform you that DTC’s assets cannot be used in any communication material without prior approval and the ad also must be relevant to our services otherwise, our material cannot be used. You are kindly requested to delete any images/videos that include DTC’s material from all platforms as your Ad is irrelevant to our services,” they wrote.
Recently, Amerado visited Dubai and decided to shoot a music video for his song ‘Taxi Driver’ there.
In a response to the message received from the Dubai Government through the Dubai Taxi Corporation(DTC) for the inappropriate usage of DTC assets for the official art cover of the new single ‘Taxi Driver’, Team Amerado released a statement that the official art cover for the song has been changed.
“All posts containing the old picture should be replaced as we continue to stick with the new one. The information has been sent to all our online stores to commence the replacement of the art cover,” they noted.
Noted for his popular ‘Yeete Nsem’ series, Amerado is known for his exceptional rap skills and versatility.
