Bertha Bridget Kankam, a Ghanaian singer popularly known in the music circles as Yaa Yaa, is not happy that creatives who invest in quality works aren’t given the needed attention.
She made this statement after a social media user asked why her performance on 3Music Awards Women’s Brunch did not make the trends.
“What should we do as creatives to get the attention that we deserve?” she asked.
“My heart hurts but we go dey alright. Please don’t let it stifle you. You don’t know what seeing art like this does for some of us. You are seen,” she commented.
