Wendy Shay has said that contrary to claims that she became successful because Ebony passed away, she could still have made it in the music industry if the ‘Bad Gyal’ was alive.
She told Fella Makafui on the Fella Show that she would have been glad to have been on the same label with somebody like Ebony because she was a great talent and she really admired her.
According to Wendy, because Rufftwon Records is well-structured, she was hopeful she could even have done projects together with Ebony and excel.
“It would have been crazy because we would have been rocking shows together. It would have been fun,” she said.
