Rapper Medikal has replied to claims by Geerman company Munichwristbusters that he wears a fake Rolex watch.
The company, widely known for checking if watches are original or fake revealed checks on a Rolex Datejust Medikal put on and shared on his Instagram page.
The company which sells original watches said they are not focused on tarnishing people’s image but rather faking the authenticity of watches affects their prices.
“The annual damage caused by brand and product piracy is estimated at 56 billion euros for German companies alone,” he wrote.
“Counterfeit branded goods damage the economy because product pirates themselves do not bear any entrepreneurial risk and also do not have to bear any costs for the development of new products. Instead, they illegally use other people’s ideas and reproduce the goods in inferior quality,” they added.

In his response to the story, Medikal wrote on Twitter: “If who I am and everything I have is fake then I never want to know what real is, Banku for life.”
