In a tweet, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr stated that he was going off for his own reasons.
He stated that he would be off from April 26, 2021.

Shatta wale’s exit from social media will definitely be felt. From his rants to his funny Instagram lives that had the nation hooked on to his page.
Everyone deserves a little time off for themselves every now and then and we are hopeful that Shatta Wale is doing well and that the break gives him the peace he needs.
