RED TV, a Lifestyle and Entertainment channel that is associated with the United Bank for Africa has finally announced the date of its upcoming YouTube series, Public Figure.
The channel is known for displaying the creative industry across Africa to the world in series such as The Men’s Club(TMC), Inspector K, Our Best Friend’s Wedding, Assistant Madams, Hotel Boutique and other hit YouTube series.
The trailer which was released on April 22, 2021, unravels the story of love, power play, relationships, cheating spouses and celebrity lifestyles.
The series was officially launched at the Kempinski Hotel where excerpts of the first episode was shown.
It narrates the life of a young lady who quits her corporate job due to several sexual demands by her boss and decides to settle in the celebrity space.
She meets a celebrity publicist who offers to help her towards her growth and may demand something in return. Will she give in this time?
Public Figure is a series with 13 episodes which was directed by the award-winning director Eddie Sedor, shot in Ghana and features Ghanaian actors and actresses like Aaron Adatsi who plays Yaw Dordor, Dela Sease as wonder, Kingsley Yamoah as Danny de Souza and Daisy Little as Frances.
This contributes to the presidential Pitch initiative which was launched in April to make Ghana the hub for movie productions and also create job opportunities.

Public Figure will begin to air on REDTV’s YouTube Channel on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 3pm WAT.
