Empire star Bryshere Gray has reportedly been sentenced to 10 days in prison after pleading guilty in his 2020 domestic violence case, Roomies.
Hakeem Lyon, real name Bryshere Yazuan Gray was arrested on domestic violence charges for choking his wife until she passed out.
Bryshere Gray will allegedly serve 10 days in jail and spend 3 years on probation after he pled guilty to felony aggravated assault. In July last year, Bryshere had a stand-off with the SWAT team outside of his home in 2020, after his wife reported to police he had assaulted her for hours.
Metro UK reported that in addition to the 10 days sentence, the actor will go for a probation program for 3 years and has been ordered to pay restitution and enroll in a domestic violence offender treatment program.
