MzVee has revealed her former record label, Lynx Entertainment, asked her to pay for the car she was gifted when she was with them.
Speaking in an interview on Neat FM monitored by ghanaweekend.com, the Afropop musician said: “they gave it to me but later said I should pay for it”.
She stated that she was instructed to pay for the car when she was leaving the record label.
“I told them I will do my best to pay”, she added.
It is not clear whether she has paid for the car or has handed it over to the record label.
MzVee, however, said that the record label did their best for her including assisting her in paying her rent.
“You wouldn’t get everything but it was better than nothing,” she said.
The Daavi hitmaker exited from the record label in 2018 and later suffered depression resulting in being out of the music scene for a while. On her return, she has released singles like Sheriff, Baby, Who are you, and others.
During her comeback, she has collaborated with Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, Nigerian musician Falz and Kelvyn Boy, just to mention a few.
The dancehall artiste will be celebrating her 10th anniversary in the music industry next year, 2022.
MzVee is currently on a media tour to promote her songs.
